Golf starts promptly with a shotgun start at 4:45 p.m. [$17 per person + tax includes green fee and cart]. Registration starts at 4:15 p.m. in the Oaks Pro-Shop.
Entry Fee of $5 includes weekly prizes and a soft drink after golf. 50% of fees collected are donated to Sheridan House Family Ministries. [www.sheridanhouse.org]
Sign up to play as a single, twosome or foursome (the league director will pair up singles and twosomes).
Fun competitive golf format changes weekly. Sample formats include: Two and Four-man scrambles, Two-man alternate shot, 2 Best Balls of Foursome, 2-man Chapman, Stableford, etc. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate!
BACK THIS YEAR... "BNL CUP - The race to the finish!"
Each week prizes are given for the 1st and 2nd place teams. New for this year is the season ending BNL CUP “race to the finish”. In addition to the weekly prizes, players are given points each week based on their finish with the last two weeks being double point weeks! The formula is simple... whoever has the most points accumulated at the end of the year wins the 2012 BNL CUP and grand prize! Points are posted and updated weekly on the website:
1st place team: 15 points per person
2nd place team: 12 points per person
3rd place team: 10 points per person
4th place team: 9 points per person
5th place team: 8 points per person
6th place team: 7 points per person
7th place team: 6 points per person
8th-10th team: 5 points per person
11th – last team: 2 points per person
When you sign up to play give us your current golf handicap or average score so we can evenly pair and / or handicap teams.
At approximately 7:00 p.m. (immediately following the completion of golf) the league will meet in the banquet room in the clubhouse for a Bible study, to announce winning teams and award prizes.
Rain or Shine – If it is raining we will meet first and then if it clears up - we’ll play!
